Log backup Sql2k

Hi,
I got this error for log backup.
'Test_log_Backup' is incorrectly formatted. Backups cannot be appended, but
existing backup sets may still be usable. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 3266)
BACKUP LOG is terminating abnormally. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 3013). Th
e
step failed.
Any ideas?

Do you have a last SP installed on your SQL Server?
Also check if there is a media failure on the device where the backup is
located.
